For a sneaker that’s notoriously known for its audacious outputs, the Air Max Plus often at its best when it reverts to simple black-based releases — and not to mention that the market (especially Australia) eats up almost every black-base TNs. This next pair is the Air Max Plus at its absolute best, with jet blacks, grey gradients, and subtle yellow accents all arriving in unison to form one hell of a low-key banger that we’ve dubbed the Air Max Plus “Batman” for obvious reasons.
For this release, the TN is tuned up in black mesh, with matching black sole units and liners to boot. 90’s Batman fans will associate the grey and yellow accents with Bruce Wayne’ fit from Batman: The Animated Series, seen here draping the guards and lower gradient of the cages, and Mini Swooshes and Air supports respectively. Tongues are tipped with a matte black finish, with further pops of yellow completing the design at the tongue and console branding.
