The Air Max Plus is Back in Black, White and Brass
Largely known for its audacious colorways, crazy prints, and aggressive aesthetic, the Nike Air Max Plus has never been afraid to show its teeth. It’s also never shied away from the basics. The latest pair to pop up for the TN3 fits the latter, bringing back the silhouetted in the famed “Orca” colorway — with a twist.
Reliant on high-contrast, the pair shifts between bold blacks and stark whites, the former predominately on the mesh upper, with the latter playing a bigger role across several of the sneaker’s components. Tongues, liners, laces, toe caps, mudguards, and midsoles all feature a clean white finish, with white-to-black gradients arriving on the midfoot shank and wavy overlays. Adding a small twist to the mostly-monochrome makeup is the presence of a brassy-brown that outlines the midfoot mini Swoosh and tongue branding, with the silhouette’s standard yellow and red branding hitting the heels, insoles and medial Tuned Air supports.
Take a peep at the pair in detail below, and expect these to start rolling out at retailers like Nike.com and Foot Locker over the coming weeks.
