A Deconstructed Air Max Plus Pops up in Psychic Blue

Since Virgil Abloh’s epic “THE TEN” collection, to releases as recent as the Air Max “Sketch to Shelf”, the deconstructed design language has been a staple part of Nike’s arsenal. Now, an all-new decon take has surfaced on the Air Max Plus.

Arriving in a tonal “Psychic Blue”, the pair’s upper is reminiscent of a pair of faded jeans, complete with its contrast white stitching throughout. Uppers, cage overlay, mudguards, and toe caps all arrive in a supple baby blue suede, with the hue appearing again on the rubber outsole and stowed away inside the Air Unit. Capping off the design is a crisp white midsole and white-to-blue gradient midfoot shank.
