Available Now // Air Max Plus “DMP”

NIKE, Inc. continues it’s 2020 obsession with its subsidiary Jordan Brand’s “Defining Moments Pack” with yet another black, white, and gold-themed release. Of course, the reissue of the Air Jordan 6 DMP earlier this year has lead the resurgence, which was recently joined by a DMP Jordan Dub Zero earlier this week, and now this “DMP” Air Max Plus.

While it’s in no way connected to Michael’s achievements, the popularity of the pack has engrained the theme into the mind of many that any subsequent release in the palate adopts the acronym moniker. Here, we see a clean white mesh upper overlayed by black caging, and black nubuck heel overlays, mudguards, and tongue tips. Liners and eyelets also arrive in black, as does the full-length of the rubber outsole. Midsoles are intriguing, with bold metallic gold shanks surrounded by segmented black sections, with white reaching the toe and heel. Air supports, profile Swooshes, medial line detail, and insole branding all arrive in gold, and the pair is capped off with your standard Red/Yellow Tn branding at the heel and underfoot.
