Sean McDowell’s legendary Air Max Plus will celebrate its 25th anniversary in style as the bold-bodied silhouette has just surfaced as part of Nike Sportswear’s newest Air Max “Icons” collection.

Like the recently-revealed Air Max 95 from the pack, this TN also boasts an OG-inspired build. Here, the pair borrows the OG “Hyper Blue” base, though it tones down the original’s shade of blue to something more closely aligned to navy. Supporting elements of black and white are rife, while the original’s bright yellow has been swapped out for accents of “Scream Green.” The pair is then completed by unique “Nike Icons” graphic insoles that are indicative of a more extensive collection.

An official release date for this new Air Max Plus “Icons” is unknown, but you should expect to see it sneak into select retailers and Nike.com in the coming months.
