As we approach the 25th anniversary of the iconic Nike Air Max Plus, sneaker enthusiasts have much to look forward to in 2024. While the model has already made waves with its range of inline styles, it's gearing up for a special celebration, including the revival of OG classics like the "Sunset" and "Hyper Blue." But one particular release serves a unique tribute – the Nike Air Max Plus "Light Retro."

Designed by Sean McDowell, this upcoming iteration is a vibrant and visually captivating addition to the Air Max Plus lineup. The shoe features palm tree-inspired TPU overlays and a gradient-filled upper adorned with a striking turquoise hue that gradually deepens into a jet-black heel counter. This color scheme creates a stunning visual effect that sets this release apart.

While dark, almost abyssal shades dominate the sole unit and various overlays on the upper, a pair of crisp white Swoosh logos on the sides of the shoe provide a striking contrast, offering a glimmer of brightness against the moody backdrop. The signature TN heel tab and gradient-coated shank further enhance the design, creating a cohesive and captivating look that captures the essence of the Air Max Plus.

The Nike Air Max Plus "Light Retro" is scheduled to make its debut via in select Asian markets on December 1st, and there's a good chance that sneaker enthusiasts will also get the opportunity to secure a pair in the United States before the year concludes.
