The Air Max Plus Returns in Red, Black and White
Nike is again elevating its latest Air Max Plus offering, featuring a captivating red, black, and white blend.
This new iteration pays homage to Sean McDowell's original gradient concept, incorporating a trio of black-to-red transitions that make the sneaker pop.
The gradient magic starts on the mesh upper, shifting the color from red at the top to black towards the bottom. This is cleverly mirrored on the vein cage overlays, only here, the gradient reverses black at the top, melting into red at the bottom. The black laces and liners integrate seamlessly into the cage design, enhancing the gradient effect. The same black-to-red transition is observed on the midfoot shank, rounding out the trinity of gradient elements.
The white EVA midsole adds to the visual intrigue, providing a crisp counterpoint to the dramatic red and black tones. Hidden within are red air supports that harmonize with the upper's color scheme, grounded by a black rubber outsole. The finishing touch comes in white branding marks at the midfoot and tongue.
This new Nike Air Max Plus is slated for an October 25th release on FootLocker.com
