The Nike Air Max Plus VII "Black" Is Expected Holiday 2025
Nike, Inc.'s archive of products could fill up football stadiums. And while some designs from the past have fallen into oblivion, never to retro again, others have been ready to return for the right occasion. Throughout this year, the Air Max Plus VII is set to rerelease for its 20th anniversary.
First reported by Romania's Sneaker Market, the Tuned Air relic is scheduled to return in original 'Varsity Maize'. The vibrant colorway harkens back to 2005, falling in line with the Nike Air Max Plus line's inherently-bold attitude. As with the inaugural Tn design by Sean McDowell, the Air Max Plus VII's roster of styles would be incomplete without a stealthy 'Black/Anthracite' look.
An official release hasn't been confirmed by the Swoosh, but the understated finish makes sense for the 20-year-old silhouette. Nike's modern push for visible Air has resulted in the Air Max DN–another silhouette borrowing fro, McDowell's creation that's indulged in several muted finishes. The Air Max Plus VII's textured upper, miniature swooshes, and future-forward sole unit will surely draw longtime and new fans alike with a versatile, pitch-'Black' update.
If the sneaker returns this year, expect it to hit Nike.com and a wide assortment of retailers throughout the Holiday 2025 for $180.
