Since its inception, bold gradient designs have defined the Air Max Plus lineage—an aesthetic deeply rooted in Sean McDowell’s original vision for the line's debut silhouette. Inspired by a Florida sunset, McDowell’s design approach for the Air Max Plus in 1998 set the tone for every iteration that followed, from the Air Max Plus II to the newly revived Air Max Plus VII.

The "Dusk" colorway continues that legacy, delivering a gradient mesh upper that shifts from Total Orange at the toe to Cactus Flower at the heel, mimicking the warm glow of the evening sky. Framed by jet black overlays, midsole shank accents in Smoke Grey, and a pop of Volt on the midfoot Swoosh and Air supports, the design captures the unmistakable energy of McDowell’s original inspiration while maintaining the VII's signature tooling.
