The Nike Air Max Portal "Dawn" Releases Spring 2025

Y2K aesthetics continue to dominate the sneaker scene, with a mix of retro models and reimagined modern designs forming the backbone of much of the coverage in sneaker blogs. One of Nike’s newest throwback-inspired designs, the women's exclusive Air Max Portal, has been slowly finding its place after a soft launch earlier this year. Now, it’s gearing up for the new year with another homage to its Air Max lineage, this time through a stunning "Dawn"-style gradient finish.

The Air Max Portal “Sunrise” features a dawn-like gradient of pink and purple across the mesh upper, evoking the serene hues of a morning sky. This design is reminiscent of the classic Lorenz.OG, with sail leather guards and color-matched midsoles, provides a solid, bulky backdrop to the vibrant gradient. The top half of the shoe is framed with black accents on the liner and tongue, adding contrast and bringing attention to the bold gradient. The pair rests on a black rubber tread to complete the look, ensuring a stylish and durable finish.

While a release date is not yet set, the Nike Air Max Portal “Dawn” is poised to stand out in the Air Max lineup as it enters 2025.
