It seems that each and every year, Nike’s Air Max linage is getting more daring than the last. That should come as no surprise from a brand built on the back of innovation, but as the line has failed to grab traction in the past decade, it begs the question, is the market ready for such advancement? With a huge push towards vintage footwear in recent times, Nike juxtaposed the desires with the Nike Air Max Scorpion — a sneaker that looks out of this world. Given it’s gaudy design, it’s no surprise that the colorways have been fairly tame — like this new Nike Air Max Scorpion “White Mint“ colorway — aiming to draw people into the statement silhouette.

Dressed primarily in bright white, the pair deviates through milky translucent at the midsole clip and bulbous Air supports, with light mint Swooshes worked into the upper’s weave for the pair’s only pops of color. The vamp, forefoot, collar and rear pull all arrive with a plush chenille-like texture adding a subtle-yet-simple point of difference to the drop.

A release for the Nike Air Max Scorpion “White Mint” is currently scheduled to arrive during Spring 2023,, though specifics are currently unknown.
