Nike Delivers the Air Max Sunder in "Deep Night"

After making its long-awaited return last summer, the Nike Air Max Sunder has steadily reestablished its place in the lifestyle rotation. Now, Nike prepares to ride that momentum into late summer and fall with a fresh gradient-flavored edition: the Air Max Sunder “Deep Night.”

This upcoming pair leans into bold seasonal tones, featuring a rich pink “Cactus Flower” fade into a dark “Deep Night” across its synthetic and textile upper. The duotone execution has become a standout signature for the revived model, and here, it perfectly captures the late-day glow of its nickname. Supporting details include a metallic silver mudguard wrap and matte black overlays, which help ground the vibrant upper with subtle structure.

True to the Sunder’s technical roots, the design maintains its rugged, trail-informed look while continuing to be styled for the streets. The zip-up shroud and exaggerated Air Max cushioning remain intact, making it a functional and fashion-forward option heading into fall.

The women’s Nike Air Max Sunder “Sunset” will be available on Nike.com in mid-2025 for $180.
