Hornets-Colors cover the Next Nike Air Max Tailwind

Nike’s more recent inspiration for colorways seems to be flowing directly from the hardwood, with two OKC-themed offerings, a Huarache EDGE and React Element 55, and a Hornets-flavored Air Max 98, all arriving for Spring. And you can add one more to the Buzz City-themed collection, with the recently reintroduced Nike Air Max Tailwind IV sporting the iconic Teal and Purple pairing.

The shoe’s upper is constructed mostly of a teal mesh, while rich royal purple is used for the midfoot’s signature plastic caging and trim surrounding the trainers white leather overlays. The duo continues down onto the Air Max windows, with darker hues of teal green arriving over the toe, outsole and midsole’s midfoot to complete the design.

If this week’s throwback jersey-inspired Air Max 98s aren’t enough for the hardcore Hornets fans, these Gradeschool Air Max Tailwind IVs will be arriving shortly after, with a release to hit select Swoosh houses and Nike.com over the coming weeks
