Nike Adds a Jolt of Color to the Air Max TL 2.5

Nike’s early 2000s revival continues to thrive, and the return of the Air Max TL 2.5 proves just how deep the Swoosh is diving into its archive. One of the standout runners of the era, the TL 2.5 has recaptured attention thanks to its aggressive styling and unmistakable cushioning tech. Now, it’s back with a fresh new look for Fall 2025.

This latest edition keeps things relatively straightforward up top, dressing the mesh and synthetic upper in all black, with sleek silver accents adding structure along the eye stays and Swoosh. But while the upper might be muted, the sole unit tells a different story. A vivid lime green midsole sets the foundation, punctuated by matching Air supports that bring the design to life. A splash of “Photo Blue” hits the outsole and sockliner, creating a sharp contrast and a burst of color at both ends.
