Nike Brings a "Red October"-Like Update to the Air Max TL 2.5

The Nike Air Max TL 2.5 from 2006 continues to emerge in compelling, new styles. For its most recent makeover, the retro product has gone for a "Red October"-like look reminiscent of 2014's legendary Air Yeezy II release.

While not officially part of the storied lineage, the newly-surfaced Air Max option features a "University Red" finish across the bulk of its build. The eye-catching finish is only interrupted by hits of "Black" that accompany branding elements and the sole unit underfoot. The red-heavy style also evokes images of ruby-colored footwear from Nike Sportswear that emerged in the mid-to-late-2010s.

Firm Nike.com release details for the TL 2.5 haven't been confirmed by the brand as of yet, but that's expected to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the pair ahead.
