Nike Air Max TL 2.5 “Varsity Red” Brings Back a Clean OG Feel

The Air Max TL 2.5 revival continues to build momentum, and Nike isn’t shying away from tapping into its early-2000s roots. The latest colorway to surface, “Varsity Red,” sticks to the formula—white mesh, black contrast, and just the right amount of bold red to stand out.

Revealed via official product imagery, the Air Max TL 2.5 “Varsity Red” comes dressed in a familiar palette of white and black, with Varsity Red Swooshes and subtle red accents at the heel. A crisp white midsole houses the full-length Max Air unit, while a black outsole grounds the look and reinforces the OG aesthetic. The Varsity Red also highlights the air chambers beneath, giving the tech-forward sole unit an added layer of definition.

While no firm release date has been confirmed, the Air Max TL 2.5 “Varsity Red” is expected to launch soon for $180.
