After it’s whirlwind return in 2017 — then a sabbatical in 2018-19 — the Nike Air More Uptempo is beginning to surface again in a handful of new colorways — and that’s worthy of a celebration. So let’s break out the bubbles! This next-to-surface colorway does just that, although it’s not responsible to put alcohol on a child’s shoe. Fans of the silhouette will recall that an almost identical release hit shelves in mid-2019 celebrating the Champagne region of France — even dressing the eyelets in a perforated gold finish that mimics a bottle top. Whilst this GS releases features a few notable changes (leather tongues, different texturing on the lettering, and the omission of the map of France) it’s clearly a kid-friendly option of the aforementioned. The rear now features Scottie’s Olympic digits embroidered in gold, and the pair is complete with a murdered-out sole units filled with metallic gold Air supports.
A release date for this black and gold More Uptempo did not arrive attached to the official image set, but you should expect to see these hit select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com in the coming weeks. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the pair here below, and keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
