The More Uptempo Joins Nike’s Gaudy “Ghost Swoosh” Collection

Though there are many themed collections coming this summer from Nike, none are more daring or as colorful as its impending “Ghost Swoosh” series. With gaudy hues, whimsical illustrations, and the titular character Swooshes, the series is definitely not your typical. Then comes this Nike Air More Uptempo, which pairs a striking white and black anchor set against rainbow gradient midsoles, and multi-color eye stays.

It doesn’t stop there, though, with illustrated insoles, doodled tongue tags, striking pink and green Swooshes in the rear and underfoot, and the titular wavy ghost figure resting at the toe. On a more subtle note, the pair’s white leather upper is fixed with AIR letter overlays of alternate textiles, including tear-away panels, suedes, bubbled textures, and canvas.
