Nike Air More Uptempo “I Got Next” Continues Streetball Themed Collection

Scottie Pippen’s iconicNike Air More Uptempo has become one of Nike’s mainstay streetwear silhouettes over the past half-decade, but its history is still heavily rooted in hoops. Often the part of Nike Sportswear packs that celebrate the game’s eccentricities, the model once again finds itself front and center to a hoops-themed collection, with this Nike Air More Uptempo “I Got Next” joining a Nike Dunk High of the same name to kick start a brand summer series.

Prepared in classic Bulls build of red and black, the pair continues in OG form up top with nubuck uppers but quickly switches to contemporary materials including ripstop tongues and iridescent AIR lettering. White rear Swooshes marry-up to all-white sole units, with red Air supports continuing the Windy City theme before a splash of Irish Green on the heel mini Swooshes adds even more depth to the colorway that’s clearly inspired by Chi-Town. The air is then finished off by special graphic insoles that depict both outdoor courts, and the phrase often heard around it — “I Got Next”

After first revealing itself in kids sizing, official images of the Nike Air More Uptempo “I Got Next” have just revealed themselves in adults sizing — including extended black paintwork on the midsole. A release date has not yet been set.
