Original Post The Nike Air More Uptempo returns in 2023 with a little Caribbean flair, as this kids-exclusive Nike Air More Uptempo “Jamaica” has appeared ahead of the impending Spring/Summer season.

Though it’s a stand-alone release in its own right, the pair — unfortunately — brings back memories of the horrific Rasta Nike Air Max A Lot, a sneaker that made our list of the 30 Ugliest Basketball Shoes Ever Madefrom 2018. Luckily, these don’t feature a gaudy patent leather and streamlined overhaul, instead staying true to the Uptempo’s black nubuck roots. It’s met by a bright white midsole and green rubber outsole, with the pair then bookended by married liners up top. Lastly, strikes of Opti Yellow are then worked into the “AIR” letter underlays, brand markings, and Sir supports, with a final — literal — splash of green flecked through the pair’s signature overlays.

A release date for this new Nike Air More Uptempo “Jamaica” has just been set by Finish Line for July 1st, 2023.
