First Looks // Nike Air More Uptempo “Limestone”

Nike Sportswear will add a little color flair into its Autumn offering of Scottie Pippen’s iconic 1996 sneaker, with the Nike Air More Uptempo “Limestone” adding pops of Valerian Blue to deviate away from your typical Fall release.

Though it’s not typical in color, it’s a fairly straightforward release, with classic leather uppers and mesh tongues arriving in the titular hue, with tonal letter overlays, laces, liners, and pulls. The former is trimmed with blue suede underlays, with the pair’s Swooshes further pops of the teal-blue hue. Of those, the heel’s signature jewel Swoosh is removed, as the pair instead opts to showcase the aforementioned suede underlays. A solid Limestone sole unit then sits underfoot, complete with Valerian Blue Air supports and Swooshes, to finalize the design.
