A bonafide classic returns for the Holiday season, with Scottie Pippen’s OG Black/White Nike Air More Uptempo marked down for a 2020 re-release.
It seems like these were reissued just yesterday, but in fact, it’s been a whole four years since the bold-lettered hoops classic has hit the market. Originally worn by Scottie Pippen during the famed 72-10 season and subsequent ’96 championship run, it served as an unofficial signature sneaker for Pip — a precursor for the equally-bangin’ Air Pippen 1 in 1997. Word is that the OG Black/White More Uptempo will be back for the holidays, and it’s expected to return in its original nubuck make.
Just exactly when these will release remains a mystery, but we’ll be sure to keep you filled in with all the details over on our official Twitter account as they come to light. Until then, enjoy a look at the 2016 release below — as it expected to arrive pretty much the same as this.
