The Nike Air More Uptempo “Rough Green” Arrives February 17

Scottie Pippen’s iconicNike Air More Uptempo has become one of Nike’s mainstay silhouettes over the past half-decade, with the model making sporadic appearances every other month. Recently, the model has made itself known more frequently, indicating that the Swoosh may well be ramping things up for the silhouette in 2022 — and if you needed another indication, this all-new Nike Air More Uptempo “Rough Green” furthers that notion.

Anchored in the silhouette’s staple black nubuck upper, mesh tongues, and murdered-out midsoles, the pair automatically brings an OG feel. Instead of bright white AIR overlays, this design enlists the titular olive hue on both over and under letter panels, whilst added leather toes and heels bring a new twist. The color returns again on the Swooshes, save the underfoot stroke of striking orange and jewel Swoosh in the rear, and the pair is completed by dog snout graphic insoles to identify the pair as part of a wider Nike Sportwear collection for Spring.
