The Nike Air More Uptempo is slowly but surely edging its way back into the sneakerhead psyche, with the big-lettered silhouette surfacing in increasing frequency. The next of which is this new White/Multi option that brings with it the bold black and white contrast the design is known for, whilst bringing a subtle, colorful twist — said to be inspired by retro hoops trading cards.
With an off-white base and bold black branding and pulls, the pair is a statement sneaker from the jump. Its simplistic base enables the pair to go anywhere, with a colorful gradient under-letter layer this releases’ champion feature. Working from golden yellow at the forefoot, the underlayer works into blue, red, and orange towards the rear. The latter appears again on the special lineal-graphic insoles, to complete the design.
