Nike's Pegasus 2K5 Gets Pretty in 'Pearl Pink'
Running is at the center of Nike. Recent years have seen the Oregon-based institution stray away from its origins, but the Swoosh has been returning its focus to the sport, producing elite-level marathon race shoes and trainers. Along the way, the brand has revisited its running archive to breathe new life into models like the Pegasus 2K5 (2005).
As its name suggests, the silhouette released 20 years ago as Nike's reliable daily running sneaker. The Pegasus line is currently on its 41st iteration, with styles like the Pegasus Premium even expanding the workhorse with wings' scope. The retro offering has returned in several original styles over the last two years, but it's also emerged in new ensembles that firmly cement it as a lifestyle option far-removed from its performance past.
The latest Pegasus 2K5 dons a near-tonal 'Pearl Pink' look across its upper and sole unit. Reminiscent of the kids' Air Jordan 12 'Pearl Pink' expected during the Holiday 2025 season, the retro Nike Running silhouette enjoys rosy shades throughout its textile base and synthetic leather overlays. The Nike Air-assisted tooling opts for a darker shade of the titular tone, while profile swooshes opt for a shimmering finish that injects a touch of elegance into the women's sneaker.
Firm Nike.com launch details haven't been disclosed by the brand as of yet, but that's expected to change by May. In the meantime, enjoy official photos of the 'Pearl Pink' Pegasus 2K5 below.
