The Nike Air Pegasus 2K5 Taps Into the Coffee Craze
Fifteen, twenty years ago, brown accents on sneakers were mostly dismissed—viewed as dull or outdated. However, that all changed with the rise of Travis Scott’s collaborations, which helped reframe the coffee-colored hue as a staple of modern sneaker design. Since then, it’s made its way from luxury lines to GR shelves, and while the trend may be entering its maturity phase, Nike still has plenty left to offer.
Case in point: this upcoming Nike Air Pegasus 2K5.
This pair keeps things simple and on-trend—a crisp white upper sets the tone, built with breathable mesh and layered with smooth white leather. Underneath, rich coffee-colored suede adds warmth and contrast through the underlays, giving the shoe depth without overwhelming the design. A black-trimmed midfoot Swoosh rounds things out, adding enough sharpness to frame the look.
There’s nothing over-complicated here—just a clean, wearable take on a current favorite palette.
Expect the Nike Air Pegasus 2K5 to be released before the close of Summer 2025.
