Available Now // Nike Air Raid “White/Black”

The Nike Air Raid hit hard back in 2014 when a solid run of retro releases flooded shelves. Amongst the releases was this White, Black, and Red rendition that rocked the blacktop, and its expected to do the same again when it returns in 2021 — confirmed by-way-of official imagery today.

With the return of the silhouette’s two most famous colorways — the OG Black/Greyand the Urban Jungle— recently gracing retailers, Nike will now look to other classics for supplementary releases. From the official look below, the pair appears to arrive on par with the 2014 release in almost every way. Heavy-duty uppers and suede toes in black host piercing white tumbled leather overlays from toe to tail. Tongues, also in tumbled leather, revert to black, as does the liner, laces, outsole, and strapping. The latter, along with the rear pull, features a slightly darker red than the last release, while the midsole fleck is applied more liberally this time around, too.
