The Nike Air Rift debuted in 1996. Since then, it's enjoyed a cult-like following, staying away from the mainstream limelight. Throughout the last two years, the silhouette has become trendy, enabling a healthy run of retros.
Ahead of summer, the design has emerged in a two-tone color scheme that breathes new life into the decades-old creation. "Metallic Silver" panels cover the bulk of the upper, with "Black" neoprene layers joining the mix around the heel. A gradient finish and series of stitch lines appear across the back-half of the Women's-exclusive style, while the sport-inspired tooling underfoot reverts to a pitch-dark finish.
