Quietly coming off its 35th anniversary year, Tinker Hatfields Nike Air Trainer 1 has enjoyed a recent strong run of releases, from OG reissues to collaborations alike. With the celebrations now technically closed, there still remain a few colorways to kick-off the afterparty, including this new canvas-clad Nike Air Trainer 1 “Coconut Milk” colorway.
Forgoing the silhouette’s staple leather construct, this release looks to creamy canvas for its upper and tongue before reintroducing smooth cowhide at the Sail and Team Gold overlays. Accents of jet black are used sparingly, with Swooshes, eyestays, and midsole time the sole recipients. A midfoot stap of Team Gold blends into its leather surrounds, while a two-tone gum rubber outsole and clean white midsole rounds out the design.
