Having recently appeared for the first time, Nike’s newest marquee VaporMaxmodel is expected to arrive in a heavy of bold and beautiful colorways for its expected debut this March. But it’s not all vibrance and color for the newest bare-Air trainer, with the silhouette eyeing down everybody’s favorite colorway on this upcoming Nike Air VaporMax 2021 “Triple Black” release.
While aesthetically similar to last year’s release, there are a few adjustments for the 2021 model; Gone is the Flyease tightening system in favor of a traditional lacing system (thank God), and with it comes utilitarian-inspired eyelet overlays and a brand-new knitted tongue. Heel clips and toe caps appear to have ditched the marbelized finish, the former now void of its bulky pull contraption. The midfoot Swoosh is now stitched on in more traditional styling, here with a thick embroidered edge. Most other things, including the weave, sole unit, and overall shape remain unchanged. Colorwise, we see a completely tonal take, save a few colorful flecks found sporadically through the woven uppers and insoles, the latter arriving in a bland grey finish.
