Nike and Army West Point have unveiled the “Ivy Soldier” uniforms the Black Knights will wear for the 127th Army-Navy Game on December 12 at MetLife Stadium.
This year’s look honors the U.S. Army’s 4th Infantry Division, also known as the Ivy Soldiers. Established in 1917, the division earned its nickname from its Roman numeral designation, “IV,” with that history carried throughout the uniform through ivy-inspired details and the unit’s insignia.
The camouflage green design references the dense foliage of Central and Eastern Europe, while the jersey’s chiseled lettering and numerals draw inspiration from military memorials including the Utah Beach monument. The 4th Infantry Division patch appears on the left shoulder, while additional ivy graphics are worked into the Army West Point Athena Shield, Nike gloves and matching Nike Vapor cleats.

Army’s helmet continues the theme with the division insignia on the front, an “IV” graphic surrounded by four ivy leaves, and the division’s “Steadfast and Loyal” motto across the visor wings. A 9/11 decal appears on the rear of the helmet, recognizing the division’s service and sacrifice in the 25 years since the attacks.

The uniforms mark the 11th straight season that Nike, Army Football and the United States Military Academy’s Department of History and War Studies have collaborated on a special Army-Navy Game uniform. The annual series began in 2016, using each matchup to highlight different chapters of U.S. Army history.
Army will debut the “Ivy Soldier” uniforms against Navy on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The matching Army Men’s College Untouchable Game Jersey, along with a selection of T-shirts, sweatshirts and jackets created for the game, is available now through Nike and select retailers.
