The Nike Astra Ultra PRM "Lace" Goes Full Couture

Nike is continuing to push the Astra Ultra into new territory, this time with a more fashion-forward execution in the Nike Astra Ultra PRM "Lace." Following gum-soled and tonal renditions from earlier in the year, this premium edition leans fully into texture and embellishment, delivering one of the silhouette’s most elevated looks yet.

The Nike Astra Ultra PRM "Lace" retains the model’s sculptural, foam-molded foundation, featuring flowing, wave-like sidewalls and exaggerated heel geometry. But instead of smooth molded finishes, this iteration overlays the upper with an intricate black lace textile, creating depth and contrast across the ridged surface. Metallic stud detailing is scattered across the upper, adding subtle shine against the dark base and reinforcing the shoe’s lifestyle positioning.

Branding remains understated. A small tonal Swoosh sits at the forefoot, while a miniature metallic Swoosh appears at the tongue. The slip-on construction and padded collar preserve the model’s low-profile, easy-wear appeal, while the sculpted outsole maintains the same aggressive traction pattern and molded curvature that defines the Astra Ultra line.

Unlike previous options that balanced sport and street, the Nike Astra Ultra PRM "Lace" feels intentionally statement-driven. The layered lace treatment softens the otherwise futuristic silhouette, giving it a couture-inspired edge without compromising the shoe’s bold structure.
