After an on pouring of mid-cut makes last year, Nike looks to continue their barrage of Blazers in 2020, but this year it appears that the Beaverton-based brand will be favoriting the Low.
Nike’s original basketball sneaker from the ’70s, like many hardwood hits from the period, has now been repurposed as a streetwear staple. Its resurgence was pushed along by Virgil Abloh’s OFF-WHITE collaborations from 2017, but this is the first time the Low has been tested at mass-market — aside from Nike SB variations.
Arriving in a similar fashion to yesterday’s “Laser Blue” edition, this “Green Spark” Blazer Low Leather arrives constructed in a classic white leather upper, aged-look sail midsoles and vintage gum outsoles. The pair is championed along by its bold Green Spark Swoosh and is completed with nostalgic features like throwback branding hits and classic nylon tongues.
Take in an official look at the “Green Spark” Blazer Low Leather below, and expect these to hit select Swoosh stockists and Nike.com very, very soon. Be sure to keep your eyes locked on both our Nike Release Dates Calendar and our Twitter feed for further updates.
