Back in Black (and White)

Nike Sportswear will be adding to their Blazer Mid ’77 Vintage line with a back-to-basics Black and White rendition.

It follows on from the popular trio of Habanero Red, Lucid Green, and Pacific Blue, which heritage stylings were an instant hit, resulting in each pair selling out almost instantly. This iteration of the Nike Blazer Mid features the same White leather upper with Grey suede overlays on the midfoot and toe, but the colored Swooshes are swapped out for monochromatic Black, as is the eroded “NIKE” brand detailing on the heels. Finishing off the design is an exposed foam tongue, retro-inspired tongue logos, and an off-white midsole/gum outsole combo.
