Devin Booker's venture into signature sneakers has garnered its fair share of attention and anticipation. The Book 1, his inaugural signature shoe with Nike, has been discussed much since its global unveiling at the Nike World Basketball Festival in NYC earlier this year.

As we've recently learned, the debut orange colorway of the Book 1 is set to be an extremely limited release, with only 500 pairs slated to drop in December. This scarcity has only fueled the curiosity surrounding Devin Booker's signature kicks. However, there is more to come from the Book 1, including colorways like this new pair dubbed "Moss Point."

The colorway is not entirely new; it appeared on an Air Force 1 in 2019 as part of an athlete-focused collection by Nike Sportswear. This collection also featured signature designs for other NBA talents like Jayson Tatum, Ben Simmons, and De'Aaron Fox. While many may associate "Moss Point" with Devin Booker's high school, it's inspired by a corner store that held significance during his time at Moss Point High School in Mississippi.

The Book 1 version boasts a smooth, light blue leather upper with greyscale accents on the suede quarter and a metallic heel counter. The heel counter also features "Yes Ma'am, No Sir" jet-black embroidery, adding a unique touch to the design. The shoe sits atop a clad-cream sole unit, and the serial tabs, typically found on the medial tongue, have been moved to the exterior portion of the tongue for a distinctive look.

A release date for this specific colorway has been earmarked for Spring 2024, with concrete information to follow shortly. Until then, enjoy a detailed look at the new colorway below.
