With each new colorway of Devin Booker’s debut signature model, Nike continues to tell a personal story rooted in his Arizona roots. The upcoming Nike Book 1 “Night,” set to release on July 1st, draws inspiration from the tranquil, star-lit evenings of the Sonoran Desert—a nod to Booker’s connection to the natural beauty of Phoenix after dark.

The silhouette carries over its trademark workwear-inspired build, featuring a mix of ballistic mesh and real leather for immediate comfort and durability. A lenticular Swoosh and collar create a shimmering effect that mimics flickering stars and glowing nebulas in the desert sky, while a glow-in-the-dark outsole adds another layer of nighttime appeal. Book’s astrological sign is stitched onto the inside tongue, adding a subtle personal touch.

As for performance, the Book 1 “Night” remains equipped with a top-loaded Zoom Air unit in the heel and a full-length foam midsole for a responsive feel. A strong TPU plate at the midfoot and a plastic sidewall cage offer the lateral stability needed for sharp pivots and stops—hallmarks of Booker’s footwork-heavy style.
