Iridescent Swooshes Light Up the Nike Book 2 “Desert Night”

First looks at November's Nike Book 2 “Desert Night” release have finally arrived. The new colorway picks up where the original Nike Book 1 “Desert Night” left off, bringing back a similarly dark look with an all-black base and iridescent Swoosh detailing.

Devin Booker’s latest version covers the Book 2 in black across the mesh upper, overlays, laces, lining, and midsole. Like its Book 1 counterpart, the main contrast comes from the oversized Swooshes, which shift between shades of blue, purple, pink, and gold depending on the light.

Subtle color also appears through the lace loops and heel detailing, while black textured panels wrap the lower portion of the upper. A dark translucent outsole keeps the rest of the design tonal.

The result stays closely connected to the original “Desert Night” theme while translating it onto Booker’s second signature silhouette.

The Nike Book 2 “Desert Night” is expected to release on November 6, 2026 for $155 through Nike and select retailers.
