Nike Expands Its NCAA Footprint With Calm Slide 2.0 Collection
Nike’s relationship with college athletics has long gone beyond uniforms and on-court footwear. Across its marquee NCAA partnerships, the Swoosh continues to blur the line between player exclusives and fan-accessible product, regularly outfitting programs with PE-only gear while offering supporters their own in-line releases that tap directly into school identity.
As Spring approaches, that strategy extends into off-court comfort with the unveiling of Nike’s NCAA Calm Slide 2.0 collection. The lineup brings the brand’s popular recovery-focused silhouette to some of its most recognizable college programs, translating team pride into an easy, everyday slide built for downtime.
Each pair arrives in a clean sail-colored foam construction, keeping the base uniform across the collection while allowing school-specific details to do the talking. The official team insignia is stamped at the instep, while translucent outsoles reveal bold collegiate slogans beneath — a subtle yet effective nod to campus culture. Team-colored rubber outsoles add contrast beneath the neutral upper, grounding each slide firmly in its respective school’s palette.
Confirmed programs include Alabama, Florida, UNC, Penn State, Oregon State, West Virginia, Ohio State, and Michigan, with additional universities expected to surface as the rollout continues. The Calm Slide 2.0 remains unchanged functionally, offering lightweight cushioning, a contoured footbed, and a wide strap for all-day comfort — whether for post-game recovery or everyday wear.
The Nike NCAA Calm Slide 2.0 collection is expected to release on Nike.com in waves before summer arrives.
