Nike's Calm Elevation Slide Gets a Fur-Lined, "Light British Tan" Update

Nike's lineup of lounge-focused footwear continues to expand, delivering a reliable complement to the plethora of industry-shaping performance models for basketball, football, tennis, and other sports. The Women's-exclusive Calm Elevation Slide recently emerged in a fur-lined makeover that's sure to bring attention to the lifestyle-oriented range.

As its name suggests, the slip-on silhouette features an exaggerated sole unit, injecting a fashion touch into the casualwear option. A "Light British Tan" tone takes on the heritage-inspired platform sole, as well as the leather band that runs atop the foot. The choice in color is appropriate of the fall season, but also strategic given the fur lining found across the footbed and underneath the aforementioned band: the color execution and material build presents parallels with popular cozy footwear styles from UGG® and other manufacturers.
