    City of Silence.

New York City is one loud mother. But there’s been a few times where sporting greats have silenced the city, enough that you could hear a pin drop down in Times Square.

As part of Nike’s new NYC flagship celebration, which opens on Thursday, November 15th, they are offering up a chance at the new “Noise Cancelling” Collection to it’s first customers. The pack honors five incredible athletes who silenced the city through equally incredible performances.

The pack kicks off Nike Zoom Fly 2, which represents long-distance runner Shalane Flanagan and her triumph at the Women’s NYC marathon in 2017. The Air Jordan 1 High is connected to Nigel Sylvester, who burst into the mainstream with a daring image of himself across the tracks at the busy 145th St. subway station. The Air Force 1 Low represents Odell Beckham Jr., with “the catch” that needs no explanation. The Cortez honors Maria Sharapova, who at the age of 19 won her second Grand Slam at the US Open in Flushing Meadows. And finally, the Nike Zoom Kobe 1 Protro represents the Black Mamba, who hushed the MSG crowd by dropping a lazy 61 points in 2009.

The entire pack will be available exclusively at the new Nike House Of Innovation in NYC, with all five available for customization via dip-dye or by decorating the silhouettes with a variety of Swoosh options, lace dubraes, and other small details.

Peep the full collection below and take note of the release schedule, as all five are staggered out across the next three months.
