LSU Football is getting a new player-exclusive look from Nike, unveiling a Vaporposite Pro PE dressed head-to-toe in the Tigers’ signature purple and gold.
The pair puts University Gold across the Vaporposite shell, with a subtle tiger-striped pattern worked throughout the molded upper. Deep purple takes over the sock-like collar, tongue, laces, and eyestay, while a large white Swoosh outlined in purple cuts across the lateral side.
Additional LSU touches appear throughout, including Tigers-inspired branding on the tongue and custom detailing on the pull tabs. The combination gives Nike’s Foamposite-inspired football silhouette a look that feels immediately tied to Baton Rouge without overloading the design.
Introduced as one of Nike Football’s newer performance models, the Vaporposite Pro takes visual cues from the Foamposite lineage while using an internal full-foot chassis, external traction pods, and wide stud placement designed to support quick cuts on the field.
The PE arrives as Nike continues to lean further into Foamposite styling across college football. LSU is also connected to an upcoming Air Foamposite Pro release expected later in 2026, alongside pairs associated with Ohio State, Florida State, and TCU.
LSU’s new Nike Vaporposite Pro PE could make its on-field debut when the Tigers host Clemson on September 5 at Tiger Stadium. As a player-exclusive design, no retail release has been announced.
