TCU’s Purple Nike Vaporposite Pro PEs Are Coming In Hot

TCU Football has unveiled a new Nike Vaporposite Pro player-exclusive cleat for the 2026 season, and the Horned Frogs may have one of the hottest team PEs we’ve seen so far.

The pair leans heavily into TCU purple, covering the upper in a deep, glossy finish that shifts under the light. A contrasting white Swoosh cuts across the side, while small orange accents add another layer of contrast.

TCU-specific detailing appears throughout, including Horned Frog graphics on the tongue and team-inspired touches across the upper. The dark purple palette gives the Vaporposite Pro a much more aggressive look than many of the lighter-colored college PEs that have surfaced this season.

Nike has continued to roll out custom Vaporposite Pro cleats for its college football programs throughout 2026, with each school receiving its own team-specific treatment. TCU’s version stands out by keeping things relatively simple and letting the purple finish do most of the work.

Expect to see the TCU Nike Vaporposite Pro PE on field throughout the 2026 season. As a player-exclusive release, the pair is not expected to hit retail.
