Ohio State is adding another player-exclusive cleat to its rotation, unveiling a new Nike Vaporposite Pro PE for the 2026 season.
The Buckeyes’ latest pair keeps things clean with a predominantly white upper, broken up by a metallic scarlet Swoosh along the lateral side. Underfoot, an iridescent cleated plate shifts between blue, green and purple tones, giving the otherwise understated design its biggest visual hit.
The new PE arrives just in time for one of the biggest games on Ohio State’s schedule. The No. 1 Buckeyes travel to Austin to face No. 4 Texas on September 12, setting up a rematch between two of college football’s biggest programs.
Expect Ohio State players to break out the Vaporposite Pro PEs throughout the season, with the Texas matchup offering an early opportunity to see them on field.
As with most team-issued Nike footwear, the Ohio State Vaporposite Pro PE is not expected to receive a retail release.
