A closer look at the special PK80 release
A special pack for the co-founder of Nike.
From November 23-26th, Portland, Oregon, will host PK80, a double-bracket basketball tournament honoring Nike founder Phil Knight’s 80th birthday.
For the event, Nike has revealed a special edition PK80 Collection in all-Black makeups of the Kyrie 3, PG 1, Kobe AD and KD 10, which feature iridescent highlights in an ode to his shining shades. North Carolina, the lone Jordan Brand program in the tournament, will wear a PK80 version of the Air Jordan 32 and Super.Fly 2017.
Participating programs include Arkansas, Butler, Connecticut, Duke, DePaul, Florida, Gonzaga, Michigan State, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oregon, Portland, Portland State, Stanford and Texas.
Men’s games will be played at Moda Center and Veterans Memorial Coliseum. In addition, the women’s teams of Connecticut, Michigan State, Oklahoma and Oregon will take the court at Knight Arena in Eugene, Oregon, on November 25th. These storied programs account for 78 tournament bids, 22 Final Fours and 11 titles. The collection will not be available for retail, but you can get mighty thirsty from the shots below.
