First seen in 1979, the humble Nike Daybreak is to be considered one of the few pioneers of the Oregon based swoosh company. Much has changed since it’s simple beginnings, and this latest women’s release is a perfect example of how far the silhouette has come and adapted to current fashion trends. Beaverton’s in-house design team has seemingly had a blast constructing this latest addition to the women’s Daybreak catalog, incorporating a plethora of textiles and hues from a vast array of inspiration. The uppers “Sail” canvas foundation plays host to the following overlays, A toe box with blue denim and polka dots, blue nubuck lace stays, alternating swoosh designs featuring red lace and yellow plaid, soft brown nylon heel, pastel pink leather heel tab, and green lining results in a textural delight and shock to the senses. The bedrock of this spring-inspired design lays a white midsole and icy-blue rubber outer sole to offer maximum traction, completing the look is the unique tongue branding with a college equipment-like “If Lost Please Return To” and repeating “Nike” slim branded pull.
