A few Nike Sportswear collections are doing the rounds at the moment, from Satin-clad colorways to pairs that are in celebration of Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary. Amongst these — and other — collections, material mix-ups seem to be the norm, and t the new Nike “Chrome” collection is no outlier. With several Air Force 1 Lows, More Uptempos, and even a Penny 2, high-shine metallic silver paneling has been present. It’s then met with jet black, clean whites, and icy-blue sole units to match. The pack’s Nike Dunk High “Chrome” is all of that, but, like the others, it brings a unique style of implementation of these elements.
Firstly, the titular finish is applied to the mid panel and heel, with smooth white leather encasing. Black mesh tongues, laces, and liners rest above, while silver-painted midsoles and icy rubber outsoles rest underfoot.
Grab a detailed look at the pair below, and expect to see this new Nike Dunk High “Chrome” hit select Swoosh stockists on May 5th, 2023.
