Often one to pay tribute to the game that built it, the Nike Dunk High has just reappeared in a new option that honors the sport in which the sneaker rose to prominence.

Joining an accompanying Air Force 1 revealed just yesterday, this Nike Dunk High “Embedded” calls out the game itself on the insoles and liners with a colorful key graphic and motifs inspired by the outdoor courts of the world. The exterior, however, is more cryptic in its inspiration, with light beige leather uppers met with striking black leather overlays and alternating Swooshes of turquoise and black. The former returns again at the tongue tag, with monochrome, contrast-stitched sole units underfoot completing the design.

Though a release date did not accompany the image set below, you should expect to see pairs of the Nike Dunk High “Embedded” arrive at select retailers soon.
