With almost every two-tone colorway exhausted by the Swoosh over the past two years, Nike has had to find new ways to reinterpret the Dunk. The easiest way? Flip the blocking. They’ve already done it on the Nike Dunk Low “Reverse Kentucky”— and now they do it on this all-new Nike Dunk High “Grey/White” release.
A first look at the pair has appeared today via in-studio product shots shows a literal inversion of the silhouette’s traditional blocking; that is, leather uppers are now al-grey, whilst its overlays assume crisp pure white leather. It’s not that straightforward, though, with Swooshes, laces, and midsoles all donning an off-white tint, and light-grey outsoles also throwing a spanner in the works.
While there’s no current release date set, pairs are expected to arrive over the Spring/Summer season. Until further details emerge, take a first and official look at the Nike Dunk High “Gre/White” here below, and be sure to keep your eyes glued to our official Twitter account for further updates.
