From Dr. J to the early years of Charles Barkley, and even on occasion for the likes of Allen Iverson and Joel Embiid, the heritage road and home kits of the Philadelphia 76ers is as memorable as any from the era. So much so, that this new Nike Dunk High “Philadelphia 76ers” has been titled so, with it’s tricolor scheme of white, red, and royal mixing with basketball-specific branding that ties the theme together tightly.

In no way affiliated with the franchise, the retro hoops model, the color scheme it’s delivered in, and the direct callout to the game itself make a solid case. Here, it’s bright white smooth leathers that lend themselves to the upper, before an overlay set of tumbled red leather wraps the pair. Liners and laces follow suit, with special Nike Basketball branding at the tongue also donning the rich hue. Furthering that athletic aesthetic is the pair’s mesh tongues, while a hint of aged-look comes into play at the sail and light grey sole units underfoot that complete the design.

Naturally, it could also double-up as a Fourth of July wear, given its overarching patriotic theme.

Though a confirmed release date for this Nike Dunk High “Philadelphia 76ers” is yet to be revealed, official imagery for the release would indicate that a drop is imminent.
