Returning in the back-end of 2020, the OG Nike Dunk High “Goldenrod” was seemingly a catalyst for a slew of follow-on colorways both new and old. Now, nearly two years on, and with almost every two-tone colorway exhausted by the Swoosh, Nike has had to find new ways to reinterpret the Dunk. The easiest way? Flip the blocking. They’ve already done it on the Nike Dunk Low “Reverse Kentucky”— and now they do it on this all-new Nike Dunk High “Reverse Goldenrod” release.
Though inherently similar to the aforementioned OG, the pair is not a true inversion, as its midsoles train their OG white appeal, and the tongue tags settle on black and red — but for the majority of the blocking, you can spot black where the once was yellow, and yellow in place of black.
Though only sighted in sample form, rumors of a release this Fall are already circling.
